Hi, I'm Kerri Dixon.
My mission is to inspire and teach others the joy of painting the natural world.
Three years ago, my husband and I left our 27-year sign business and moved
to rural Queensland, Australia, seeking a simpler life.
We embraced semi-retirement, becoming self-sufficient farmers.
This change also allowed me to pursue my passion for wildlife art.
Joining the local art community led me to discover a love for teaching.
I began hosting workshops and events, finding fulfillment in sharing my artistic techniques.
This journey inspired me to create The Creative Barn Membership, a platform
to spread the love of drawing animals and share my expertise globally.
Art has a unique power to alleviate stress and boost self-esteem, especially during challenging times like lockdowns.
I want to create a safe space where artists can learn, grow, and share their work with like-minded individuals.
