This is about stepping away from the noise of everyday life… and finally giving yourself the time and space to create.
It’s about waking up somewhere beautiful, with nowhere else to be… except at your easel.
It’s about learning in a way that feels calm, supported, and inspiring— not rushed, not overwhelming.
And it’s about being surrounded by like-minded women who get it… who understand that this isn’t just a hobby— it’s something you’ve been wanting to come back to.

Over 7 days together, I’ll guide you step-by-step through creating realistic animal and nature artwork using soft pastels.
You’ll:
- Learn how to create depth, texture, and realism (without the confusion)
- Work on small studies to build confidence quickly
- Create finished pieces you’ll be proud to take home
- Gather your own reference photos during guided excursions
- Explore composition and storytelling in your work
- Experiment with backgrounds using watercolour and mixed techniques
- Work on a final, more personal piece (like a pet portrait or meaningful subject)
This isn’t about keeping up. It’s about building confidence, one layer at a time.
We’ll be staying in a beautiful château in the Loire Valley, surrounded by vineyards, gardens, and quiet countryside.
There will be:
Delicious meals prepared for you
Space to relax, walk, and take inspiration from your surroundings
Time to create without interruptions
Optional excursions to gather reference photos and sketch
It’s a balance of structure and space— so you can learn, create, and actually enjoy the process.
