Discover what really happens at my Tasmania art retreat—from studio sessions to sisterhood, it’s a week of creativity, connection, and confidence.
Have you ever caught yourself daydreaming about running away with your sketchbook for a week? No laundry, no to-do lists, no interruptions—just peace, art supplies, and time to actually finish something for once?
Well, I just got back from my latest art retreat in Tasmania, and let me tell you… it was magic. The kind of magic that happens when women come together, let go of the noise, and finally make space for themselves and their creativity.
Since I’ve still got a few spots left for the next one in August, I thought I’d give you a little peek behind the scenes—what we really get up to, who it’s for, and why it might be exactly what your artist heart needs.
Picture this: a beautiful, century-old hotel tucked away in a quiet Tassie town. Private rooms, a shared studio space, and that golden light that makes everything feel a bit more magical. We’re surrounded by nature, well-fed (and then some), and most importantly—unplugged from the everyday chaos.
No alarms. No Zoom calls. Just easels, pastels, and permission to be a little selfish with your time.
It’s not a bootcamp. There are no intense critiques or impossible goals. This is art retreat meets soul reset.
Each day is a mix of:
Guided tutorials and one-on-one help from me (yes, I’m right there with you)
Freedom to work on your own projects
Gentle feedback and group chats in the studio
Optional excursions for inspiration (and the occasional scone)
We talk about values, color, texture—and life. Because art isn’t separate from the rest of who we are. It's a mirror.
Sure, the techniques are helpful. But the biggest transformations I see don’t come from the how-to—they come from finally believing you’re allowed to do this.
You’re allowed to:
Make time for art.
Call yourself an artist.
Show up for yourself without guilt.
I’ve watched women arrive nervously with their art supplies still in the packaging… and leave with confidence, finished work, and new friends they now call soulmates.
Honestly? You.
If you:
Haven’t picked up a pencil in decades
Have a half-finished drawing hidden in a drawer
Are craving connection and quiet time
Want to rekindle that creative spark
Need someone to say, “Yes, you can do this”
…then I made this retreat for you.
I’ve got a few spots left for my August retreat in Tasmania, and I’d love for you to join us.

If your creativity has been whispering “come back to me”… this is your sign.
This retreat isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being present. It’s about giving your inner artist a chance to breathe. And maybe, just maybe, falling in love with art (and yourself) all over again.
Hope to see you in Tasmania.
Love,
Kerri x
